Two men enter her room at night and snatch her and drag her outside into the sun. They are confused when she doesn't burn. They leave her and drive off. Katie remembers the license plate. Send MP message to look for her if we don't hear from her by 7; also sends plate number.
--- HAVEN, NEXT DAY (04/22) ---
Checks in with K, all is well. Check in again at midnight.
Kas calls to schedule a visit with that other Tzim whose name I don't remember. He also reaches out to Annabelle cause he sucks.
--- KATIE ---
Talking with Oliver (producer) about the role; he gives her fancy dinner gloves.
A shadowy tentacle comes out from a bush and grabs her. It's Ib. Introduces herself as the Sheriff. Asked 'out side' of Harald's death. Says she heard it differently. Said Prince would like Ib to kill Katie, but there is a 'mutual friend who is fond of you' so she will lie and say Katie left after the first attack. Returns home.

We don't know who the mutual friend is.
Kas explains his past - his uncle turned him and wanted him to be his protege, but put him in the wall instead because he was ashamed/angry of his use of Animalism. Wants us to stop leaving the Haven because bad things keep happening.
Katie and MG discuss asking Warren about the 'mutual friend' - will ask about Ib but not that
Katie agrees to take the chair to her house so Peggy's Fetters are safe but she doesn't have to look at it.
MP will ask Jasper about Ib because Katie knows J was offered Sheriff.
Katie sleeps at the Maharani for safety and tells Baron T everything that happened to her in Malibu. Baron T says he's met the Sheriff. Says the mutual friend thing is "interesting". Says he'll look into it. Sends some guys to move the chair.
MG feeds on her Herd and calls Nines to set up a future talk about that weird person she and X tracked.

Katie sent Peggy to track Naylor. Somewhere by the water in Santa Monica meeting with other Cam folk. She was seen by a "scary woman" who started chanting so the Cam has Oblivion sight people or something.
Katie found out rental car used to attack her was stolen

MP spends car ride trying to convince Kas to sell the house. He agrees.
South LA, south of the airport. Warehouse. Security at a gate out front and at front door. basic sedan, old pickup, motorcycle, lowrider
Guillermo is inside talking with someone about the warehouse -- clothing shipments from China
Card table inside. Strider (dirty LOTR type), Guillermo (gangbanger type), Natasha (smartly dressed), Carver (bright mohawk and earring)
Nat - Hecata, interested in wraiths and manipulation of the shroud
Carver - down to do something against the C
Guillermo - his Baron takes care of things. they "have an agreement" with the laundry Malk - he's been here for a while. he could talk to his Baron about it but the decision isn't his. a lot of money is moved through there but as long as he pays his tax Chou is okay with it. gets a bit frustrated - Chou has been Baron for 30+ years
Nat - wants to talk about "next steps". loyal Anarchs but spread thin - keeping Vegas Cam out is a full time job. Kindred population of Barstow is pretty much one coterie
Strider - doesn't work directly with anyone. just doesn't want the C in his way
G says give me a minute and walks out
Nat - maybe we can meet in San Bernadino to suss out Katie's ghost plan. says Katie's sire's name (Florence) "rings a bell"
G comes back with Chou. Malk's name is John. Provides a lot of money for South LA. Would be amenable to kicking him out, but he wants a meeting with all of the LA Barons, plus maybe Amethyst. NO FISHER. Katie says "we'll call it a boon if necessary to keep Fisher out"

MG's Premonition: "You see a mirror. It shatters into two pieces. In one you see a white spire of salt. The other? A flaming skull. It then falls into the sand. A rainbow colored crab scurries across the glass."

MG went in a cab to Santa Monica and met X crying on the beach - "They killed her!" Brought him home in a cab. He tells the coterie that Therese has been killed. He saw Cam people come in and didn't see them kill her but he knows they did.
MG forces a Premonition: The Asylum. Ivory Tower grows out of it. On one side is half of a mirror.
MG - "The Ivory Tower is there, they took the Asylum. But Therese is only half dead"
Kas calls Katie. Tells her what's going on. Katie talks to Baron T.
MG gives X Katie's old room and says he can join Bite Club (without asking anyone).

Afternoon. Maharani. Talking to Baron T's guy. They drive to the Asylum. it's locked. Katie knocks. Woman at door says Therese is out of town. Katie says "X left something inside and he's worried, can I come in?"
"Therese left town for COVID. Won't be back for a while. A few weeks probably."
Katie asked about Jeanette. She is around town somewhere.
Katie and VT's guy stake out the club in a car nearby.
The woman leaves. A man enters. Katie takes a fuzzy picture. Texts VT an update. Later a guy walks up the car. They drive away.
Back at Maharani: VT will do meeting. His Cam source has told him "Santa Monica has fallen". Is hearing Therese got killed and Jeanette is now Cam. Photo of guy is really blurry. VT says he has a feeling who it is.
Baron G joins. VT tells her Fiorenza is his source.
Katie suggests: C bombed your club, let's hit theirs. VT says "let's talk to Nines"

MG gets way too hungry and takes X out to hunt and investigate. calls Ishmael. Says he's going to the Last Round soon.
MP calls Jasper to tell him to get Baron G in touch with her. MP goes to Maharani to meet her.
MG meets Kaspar at the haven and he says to go to Maharani, not Last Round.

C messenger arrives. New Herald, Bernadette. Says SM and Malibu and land between is C now. "Due to recent circumstances we've had to move a little more quickly into LA."

in the car, katie offered MG the position of baron of santa monica, with delilah taking over the asylum to make a statement that TBs are welcome. also wants to restart the revolutionary council. MG said yes because the cobweb said "our clan must triumph"
katie had a phone convo with florence: informed her of the war and implied she'd potentially give a life boon for hecata help

filled him in. he said he'd talk to nines. gave us an address - old office. we can drop letters for nines there. he's laying low. he knows we're moving.
katie stays at her house, MG stays with X
Kas awakens to a group trying to pick the lock to the house. one tries to batter the door down. one has an axe. MP called faust but got torpored. Pam went down, Orobouros too. Kas killed them all; shot one in the yard as he was running away. Called Katie. Kas fleshcrafted Pam to save her. Katie locked MP and Kas in the lab to sleep through the day and leaves to drive Pam to hospital but the cops pull up.
