Kas and MP are somewhere. MP in torpor. Young woman at door (English Lit major, goes by Jeannie, name is Jeannette) says boss is waiting - Faust. He's got our napalm and guns; wants two small favors for saving them from the cops. MP can leave with Kas without our belongings or Kas can do two simple things: 1) he wants assurance that the deal discussed with MP & MG would go through, 2) wants Kas and MP to meet with a friend. Kas agrees
Kas and MP taken down to freaky basement with pentagram and black mirror. MP wakes up. Shadowy figure in mirror: "Are we all settled then?" figure: "You can call me Brent." offers MP power but she has to kill Jeannie. Kas cracks the mirror. MP kills her. Faust sends them home
--- KATIE ---
taken into interrogation room. vannevar comes in. wants K to deliver a message. tell nines if he wishes to survive, pack up with the rest of the street trash and get out. makes to kiss his ring and say thank you prince.
K texts Maharani, says she'll be destroying this phone
MG and K meet up at K's house but she tries to kill MG under V's submerged directive. MG escapes and calls Baron T to come over.
K texts coterie minus MG and says phone is compromised and she thinks MG betrayed them
Baron T pulls up. Katie gets in and explains the house attack + everything else. MG listens in obfuscated. Baron T dominates her to get the truth and MG emerges; he dominates MG to get the truth as well.

Kas visits Pam in the hospital and tells her that he and MP are laying low in san diego for a while.

MP says Faust will make a deal to let MG kill Vannevar - carry a stake and look at him and it will stake him. MG says yes
F comes and talks shady shit with MP.

MG agrees. gets wooden box with golden lettering: "Ὀδούς ἀπό Κέρβερος" on the outside; "Ἀσπάζομαι Πρὸς ᾍδης" on the stake. says he calls it 'the tooth of cerberus'. "As-pádz-omai Prose Ha-des" are the magic words - says it means "welcome to hell"
he hands MP a sheet with the coordinates of our arsenal stuff
MG hides the box under her mattress and takes pictures of the writing. The stake writing pic is zoomed in so you can't tell it's a stake.

Kas pools money with Pam to bail her out (voluntary manslaughter). She will stay with us. calls Guillermo and sets up meeting in community garden w/ chou
MP gets the stuff back.

mist condenses into chou. kas is super impressed. asks for a lawyer for pam. chou says maybe frank can help. says he's a little skeezy. gives kas a business card - frank mcmann. kas asks about armando. gets him to reach out to him.
in a tree, MG sees a squirrel staring at Kas. squirel is talking to us -- first Kas and MG, then MP. "did you make the blade yet?" "it's me, brent." MP told him Chou is our boss and a vamp. they go off to talk privately and MG secretly listens but can only hear MP - "have not used it yet ... are you tracking me through an extra nipple?"
Kas calls Frank. MG goes obfuscated with Kas and Pam to meeting with him. Frank says he's "motivated to do his best" because he "saw one of chou's old lawyers"
MP gets Holden's email and writes to him.
--- HAVEN ---
MP shows MG her blade - ebony sheen with head of a bull etched on the hilt. MG teaches her some knife moves.
Kas goes to hunt dogs for his new pack.
MP emails with Holden and sets up a zoom meeting. she gets him to come to griffith college in two weeks.
--- HOLLYWOOD FOREVER ---
MG goes to find Gary Golden; meets Amalia and eats a rat with her. Gets a delusion compulsion and imagines ghosts in the cemetery while waiting on GG. Amalia offers to have MG model something for her and MG happily agrees.
GG promises to not sell any info on MG, including what she was about to ask for, for a Major Boon. He then agrees to another Major Boon to tell her info on how to get Vannevar alone.
--- KATIE ---
Katie has been in a weird cult meeting where people were eaten. Stella the Setite is the leader.
MG has a vision of mostly what happened to Katie. Wakes up MP and Kas.
MP gets a call from the police and goes to the station. MG and Kas go to Katie's house. We take her computer and firearms and return to the Haven. MP tells us Katie is dead.
--- DAYS LATER ---
MP goes to meet Katie's sister Amanda at Katie's house.
Temple calls Kas. He says he'll look into the computer.
MG asks Shoes and homeless contacts about goings on in Griffith Park on the night the body was dumped. MG finds out that homeless people have been disappearing. Rumors that people get scooped up in the middle of the night.
Brooke Cooper comes over - sent by Brent. Offers condolences for Katie. Wants to trade info on Katie's death for info on who MP is looking for for Faust. MP says she'll think about it, then calls Faust. Faust says don't tell him.
MP asks Jasper about whether he knows anything about the body in G Park. he says no.
Amanda calls MP to say she saw something like a tarantula scurrying around in Katie's house. MG, MP, and Kas come over. MG sees a recent footprint in the yard by a window - smaller, probably a woman.
MG footprint premonition: You see a woman in black, staring through the window, with a creature. A small one. tarantula sized. long black dress. and a black mask. curly, wild hair - maybe black or red?
I steal Cecil B DeMille's hat from Katie's library.
While patroling, MG sees the spider again. It goes behind the fence. Something is left on the porch. It's an avocado. MG finds the spider over the fence. It's Katie's hand. It briefly communicates with us via motion. The woman in black returns - says "all hail lilith" in a foreign language. It's katie???? says she had a backup plan - explains her wraith plan. elspeth, florence's sire, put katie's spirit into this body and then embraced it. we should call her katherine. tells MG she can't actually see ghosts, but that she will teach her how.
Amalia calls and says GG wants to see MG. MG takes Catherine with her to Hollywood Forever.
--- CEMETERY ---
Cath meets Margaret again. Tells her she's still trying to find her husband.
GG learned that Vannevar will be taking his limo down the PCH from Malibu to the club in Santa Monica tomorrow evening. GG has description and license plate. Asylum will be Elysium. Usually has a few ghouls. Suzanne might be there. Probably between 10-11. Limo is probably reinforced.
MP, MG, and K meet with 9s in the garden. We decide to put a tracker on V's limo.
--- LA ZOO, GRIFFITH PARK ---
K breaks into the zoo wearing a hoodie and talks to a jaguar about becoming Ouroboros #3. He is spotted by two guards as he's leaving and Clouds Memory on one of them.
